Roundup & Priorities
I was only at school for an hour and a half this morning for round up. Amazing. I’ve never been through that quickly, it was almost…fun? My books stacked higher than my head (not really, I’m lying) but they were pretty heavy. Unbelievably, they managed to get all 6 ap classes in! Woohoo! I do have to make a schedule change, because they didn’t give me a first period or my independent study. This should be a good year, hopefully some of my close friends ::coughs:: will have some classes with me, and hopefully someone else will change her schedule like she wants so we won’t have any classes at all together. Wouldn’t that be nice?
I only have AP English and Calculus homework left, I finished all the history. There’s just a buttload of English to do. I’ll do that after this.
Tomorrow I have to go back to school to get a work permit and turn in my thing so they can give me a first period. That would be cool if I didn’t have to worry about getting a parking space, and I could sleep in, but I want a fourth year of a language. I think tomorrow also I’m gonna go apply at Target, Raley’s, Barnes and Noble, and wherever else strikes me. Maybe Papa Murphy’s. All I know is that I need a job.
I’ve been thinking about my priorities, and how I should rethink them. What is important to me, anymore? What do I value? With limited time and such this next year, what could I cut out? Certainly talking online has to be cut back, because all that ever results from that has been idle gossip. If I want a meaningful conversation, I might as well call the person up, know what I mean?
Off to do a novel review on Cold Mountain. I better do a good job, because the English teacher I got doesn’t give extra credit…
