Family Curse

So the other day my mom tells me a “family curse” has been broken. I’m thinking, what on earth is this woman smoking, and then she explains:

July, 15 years ago: I was diagnosed with acute leukocytic leukemia.

July, 10 years ago: my parents divorced.

July, 5 years ago: my mom was diagnosed with undifferentiated infiltrating interductal carcinoma.

July of this year passed with no problems. Which makes me a little nervous…

Grandpa preached this morning. I had never heard him preach before, so that was pretty cool.  Mom sang in the service, I dunno, I have some weird opinions about people singing in worship, about things in worship in general, I don’t really feel like writing about it, if you’re curious, ask later.

Went and heard a pretty decent band tonight. Rocking.
